Responsibilities

Meritage Homes is currently hiring a full-time Regional Sales Trainer for the Meritage Homes South Region!   

 

We are looking for someone who has a proven successful track record in new home sales, and is able to use that knowledge to coach sales associates/leaders.     Has a great understanding of the CRM; has worked in a training/NEW HOME sales environment and is proficient in sales techniques and execution.  The Trainer position must be able to train small to large groups of sales associates and leaders in the field or in a classroom environment.  Must be able to work in a 'non traditional' work week, which includes two weekends/month.  

 

The South Region Trainer will be responsible for:

*Comprehensive Salesforce.com reporting to Executive Leadership

 

*Weekly review of Salesforce.com data with each Sales Leader

 

*Identify system issues and communicate to IT - follow-through to resolution

 

*Collaborate with IT and National Director of Sales Training for future system enhancements

 

* Responsible for training sales associates/leaders on the following programs: 

  • Purchase contract functionality of Salesforce.com 
  • Salesforce.com training for new Sales Associates and new Sales Leaders
  • Sales Trainee Program training
  • On-boarding by WebEx
  • Development of division orientation
  • Customer Relations Management system experience (Salesforce.com)

Qualifications

 

  • Experience in NEW homebuilding industry, min of 1 - 2 years.
  • Demonstrated success in new home sales
  • Superior written skills, verbal skills, and presentation skills
  • Must be able to compose and present training materials
  • Advanced Excel, Power Point, and Word skills
  • This position will be based out of our South Region Corporate Office in Atlanta, Georgia. 
  • Must be able to travel 25% - 50% throughout the region.  
  • Must be available to work two weekends per month
  • Sales Leadership experience a plus
