  • Responsibilities

    Meritage is looking for a Sales Coordinator who will:

    • Generate weekly and monthly and quarterly sales reports to include: Traffic, Project Status, Incentives, Commissions, and other ad hoc reports.
    • Coordinate sales meetings and team functions.
    • Assist in setting up new community sales offices.
    • Assist in preparation of competitive market analysis
    • Provide computer and administrative support to Sales Team.
    • Maintain a constant relationship with CPS for new community set up, sales issues, and system issues while working with sales associates to assure program is operational.
    • Order all office supplies for sales staff.
    • Order and coordinate all IT, internet and phone equipment for sales offices.
    • Coordinate travel for out of state sales trainings.
    • Conduct Constellation/Salesforce and system training for all sales staff.
    • Monitor and ensure the sales department is in compliance with all audit requirements.
    • Process expense report for VP of Sales.
    • Run and maintain customer service Avid reports.
    • Review and distribute all customer surveys to appropriate parties.
    • Cover communities on occasion.
    • Attend and assist with community grand openings.


    • High School Diploma, or equivalent; 2 or more years of college, preferred
    • 3 years of experience in an office support position in a business environment where a similar skill set is required
    • Must have at least 1 year of experience in homebuilding, real estate, lender or escrow
    • Good computer skills with expertise in Microsoft Windows Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
    • Experience with PeopleSoft and CPS, or similar database systems, preferred
    • Strong Oral/Written Communication Skills, proofreading skills, and telephone skills
    • Excellent Interpersonal Skills
    • Frequent interactions with new-home buyers, Title Companies and Mortgage Companies, Sales and Escrow, Design Studio, Purchasing, and Accounting, other internal departments and external contacts.
