  • Responsibilities


    • Utilize Build Pro to directly manage job set up, scheduling, rescheduling, identify schedule adherence and support internal and external users; perform daily maintenance in Build Pro to ensure job sequencing compliance.
    • Support all internal and external Build Pro users as it relates to timely delivery of homes.
    • Work with Meritage Homes construction managers and trade partners to maintain clear and accurate reporting in Hyphen BuildPro.
    • Liaison with construction managers to ensure they accurately report Process Improvement Opportunities (PIO) in a timely fashion. Use PIO management to improve build efficiencies and report obstacles/challenges.
    • Assist with all SCI (Production) reports, forms, documents, tasks and requirements
    • Assist in facilitating dialogue and reports between trade partners and construction as it pertains to cycle time adherence and have the knowledge to make changes and adjust schedules when needed
    • Support the SCI (Production) Manager in areas of research and reporting to meet expected business goals by utilizing all available resources.
    • Perform other tasks and projects as directed





    Education: High School Diploma or educational equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree highly preferred (applicable work experience may be substituted for degree requirement).   



    • Minimum of 3 years of construction job-site experience and local trade base knowledge.
    • This experience may be supplemented with knowledge of the construction process as a superintendent or construction manager. Ability to balance resources with home completion needs.
    • A degree in construction management may be substituted for some experience. Ability to balance resources with home completion needs.


    Knowledge/Technical Skills: 

    • Knowledge of homebuilding and construction systems/processes, building codes, and local ordinance construction guidelines
    • Strong proficiency with computer and related peripherals; strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

    Interpersonal/Communication Skills:

    • Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills,
    • Ability to explain complex issues in a manner easily understood by industry personnel and customers with limited knowledge of construction processes or terminology
    • Ability to work with contractors, laborers, employees at all levels, and customers with a high degree of professionalism    
    • Good problem/conflict resolution skills with the ability to influence others and manage conflict in a positive manner
    • Good leadership skills; ability to set priorities, and manage projects through all phases of completion


    • Sound judgment with the ability to make good decisions under time pressures and the ability to determine when to seek assistance or consult with more senior construction personnel
    • Accurate; with keen attention to detail while staying clearly focused on the big picture
    • Self-directed; takes initiative, proactively addresses problems; can work with minimal oversight 

    Mental Abilities:

    • Must be able to analyze multiple variables, construction deficits or product problems to determine the root cause, and determine solutions to produce the desired outcome
    • Must be able to deal effectively with outside influences which bring frustration in making everyday business decisions. 
    • Highly organized and flexible; with the ability to prioritize numerous details, define schedules, and meet deadlines, with frequently changing circumstances, in a high-volume fast-paced work environment
