As a Contract and Closing Coordinator, you'll be involved in the critical steps necessary to welcome our customers into their new homes. You'll have the opportunity to work closely with a variety of individuals and collaborate with other team members as you execute your responsibilities with a high sense of urgency. You’ll have the opportunity to cross-train and learn many aspects of the residential building industry, but your primary responsibilities will be:• Conduct initial review and analysis of all Purchase Agreements and Exhibits• Provide accurate updates of sales information in centralized enterprise-wide tracking system• Generate a variety of financial and statistical reports• Review all final Purchase Agreements prior to presenting to Finance Director• Maintain constant communication with various departments to ensure transparency and up-to-the-minute information share• Respond to calls from various parties (Buyers, Title Company, Mortgage Agent, etc.) and resolve or refer to the appropriate person or department• Monitor and audit various documents to ensure compliance• Track conditional loan approvals and follow-up accordingly• Conduct on-going progress review to ensure that all document and information deadlines are met in accordance with contract requirements.
- Manage homebuilding construction through all phases to ensure the delivery of a quality home.- Schedule subcontractors and delivery dates for materials.- Ensure all building codes and Meritage Home standards of quality are met.- Conduct walk-through inspections and other scheduled inspections with the homeowner. - Communicate safety standards to laborers and sub-contractors; enforces safety regulations on all job sites. - Maintain a clean and organized jobsite and subdivision.- Interact daily with various departments of company, subcontractors, customers, and city inspectors.- Attend Construction, monthly and quarterly meetings.
