Meritage Homes is looking for a Customer Care Representative in the Phoenix West Valley to act as the point of contact for buyers and homeowners inquiring about their home needs via our customer care corporate hotline. This person will be responsible for the timely and accurate flow of information to division warranty and/or customer care team members; inputs information into the warranty database, updates records as applicable, and acts as the liaison for customer complaints. The Customer Care Hotline Representative will:- Handle incoming corporate customer calls (not call center) including buyers under contract and warranty. Record details of customer contacts and forward to applicable parties.- See calls/complaints through to resolution, record actions taken, maintain record of calls- Frequently communicate with customers, local division customer care/warranty team, sales and construction management as well as director of national customer relations.- Manage and when applicable create emergency warranty claims; follow up with divisions on status and completion.- Provide warranty claim status updates as applicable to both homeowners & trade partners.- Update homeowner records as applicable, including documenting completion of key warranty milestones.- Conduct warranty customer satisfaction calls & surveys.- Handle “special projects” to assist divisions with warranty administrative needs.- Provide information regarding warranties and products to our customers. Learn the manufacturer’s recommendations for product features, use, and warranty provisions for products which generate the most frequent customer calls.- Manage milestone customer care materials and send to homeowners.- Produce monthly reports detailing call volumes, milestones, etc.- May perform occasional duties of an administrative assistant - May accompany supervisor on occasional walk-throughs, or new homeowner orientations to learn products and gain general construction knowledge.
- Leads development, documentation and maintenance of IT infrastructure policies, procedures, and standards across the IT department- Monitors and routinely audits compliance to all IT infrastructure procedures and policies, and ensures consistency of internal controls across IT infrastructure- Monitors all IT infrastructure to ensure uptime requirements are met, measured through service level agreements- Manage operations of a hybrid cloud infrastructure team with the ability to be hands-on with technology- Manage 3rd party service providers, e.g., NOC, engineering, ISP- Provides oversight and ownership for all IT infrastructure and dependent systems- Assist in system and software architecture and design to ensure that IT infrastructure platforms are appropriately designed and scaled at all times- Produce and maintain IT infrastructure best-practices for IT infrastructure staff, and oversee training- Author and exercise the information technology disaster recovery and business continuity plans- Integrate continuous improvement processes through the use of metrics and trends to drive availability, scalability and high performance- Manages several simultaneous projects and other related tasks, as assigned. Interact with various internal and external groups to facilitate successful project completion.- Maintains key infrastructure support systems such as CMDB, Monitoring, Cloud services, Backup/Recovery, Identity and Access Management, Patching, Anti-Virus, Printing, Mobility.- Facilitates compliance controls and audits as part of SOX guidelines - Support and participate in the investigation of security incidents, identifying root, technical, contributing or organizational causes, and implement preventive actions where necessary- Has accountability for performance, development and coaching of staff (i.e. hiring, performance management, salary increases, etc.)- Serves as an escalation point for all Service Desk and Infrastructure support - Ensures collaborative working practices are implemented and encouraged within the team, across the team, and with business partners- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking current practices; participating in professional societies

In this role, you will:- Manage homebuilding construction through all phases to ensure the delivery of a quality home.- Schedule subcontractors and delivery dates for materials.- Ensure all building codes and Meritage Home standards of quality are met.- Conduct walk-through inspections and other scheduled inspections with the homeowner. - Communicate safety standards to laborers and sub-contractors; enforces safety regulations on all job sites. - Maintain a clean and organized jobsite and subdivision.- Interact daily with various departments of company, subcontractors, customers, and city inspectors.- Attend Construction, monthly and quarterly meetings.
Meritage Homes has an opportunity available as an Assistant Construction Manager our Marley Park community in Surprise, Arizona. Meritage Homes is looking for a Strategic Research Analyst in Scottsdale, AZ to support various market and product research efforts at a national level. The Strategic Research Analyst is responsible for creating macroeconomic, property level, and product development research. This position provides support to the entire Strategic Research team as well as all other departments throughout Meritage. A large portion of this position will support the company’s strategic product initiatives through qualitative and quantitative research methods. Duties:- Monitor, update, maintain and report on developing macro/micro economic events- Conduct research on special topics in support of the Meritage’s strategic initiatives- Assist with the development and presentation of Meritage’s product research. Maintaining all supporting databases and uncovering actionable insights.- Assist with the preparation of forward-thinking commentaries that are leading indicators for our industry.- Assist in the development of an industry leading, data driven information system.- Assist the Strategic Research in underwriting new communities as needed.- Train employees on the use of proprietary models and third-party economic and real estate market data tools.
Directs a comprehensive investor relations program for Meritage. Manages the financial performance communication and strategy of the Company to the investment community. Serves as the primary contact and advocate of the Company to buy/sell side analysts, investors, journalists and others, as applicable. Drives the aggregation, reporting and new developments updates for the Company’s Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) strategy. FUNDAMENTAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:- Responsible for the development of investor relations’ strategies, policies, programs and projects including the development of an annual investor relations calendar and events.- Responsible for the compilation and preparation of all Board meeting presentations- Manage the production of all financial presentations to be used by the senior officers for institutional investors and the development of annual reports (excluding the 10-K), financial news and earnings releases, investor relations website content, and other IR communications.- Act as a front-line resource for investors and analysts including responding to special IR and investor situations, building relationships with key analysts and communicating publicly-disclosed financial and operational metrics including short and long-term financial projections to the investor community.- Responsible for keeping executive management abreast of Wall Street expectations, investor questions, industry conferences, competitor developments, and trading activity.- Lead the aggregation and reporting for Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) Work collaboratively across internal functions to collect applicable data and keep current on developments in the ESG space. - Oversees the gathering of ESG-related data and where possible benchmarks peers. Our Phoenix division is seeking a Land Leader to manage all Land Development activities. Specifically:- Coordinate all Land Development activities with Division Operations team and ensure compliance with Division Business Plan.- Ensure that land development policies, internal control procedures and practices are well understood and complied with by all direct and indirect reports.- Manage the technical due diligence process and coordinate with Division Land Acquisition team during feasibility period.- Approve preliminary entitlement and land development budgets and schedules for all Division land acquisitions. - Approve final quantity take-offs and final project LD budgets.- Provide leadership/manage the entitlement process for all Division land acquisitions.- Provide leadership throughout the bidding and contracting of all Division land development projects. Approve and execute all land development vendor agreements. - Provide leadership/manage the resolution of entitlement issues and conditions prior to and during development. - Coordinate technical due diligence with Land Acquisition team during feasibility analysis and due diligence phase.- Review and approve all periodic financial reports on each phase of development, and continually review all accounting relative to land efforts.- Understand design related components necessary to satisfy governmental entitlement requirements. Remain constantly aware of ever changing market conditions and trends in the industry. - Perform quarterly and annual performance reviews/updates with all direct reports. Attend/provide input for all quarterly and annual performance reviews with indirect reports.
