This position can be located in either Orlando or Tampa. The Market Research Analyst’s role is to analyze data, underwrite specific land opportunities, and support multiple facets of the company through strategic research. The Market Research Analyst will: - Demonstrate a high level of ownership in the data and a thorough understanding of research processes.- Support division’s land acquisition efforts with detailed market research to understand the opportunities and risks associated with the potential project.- Provide research to make recommendations for product that will have the highest potential for success and best fit in the market.- Deliver economic research on residential housing markets.- Improve community performance by collaborating with the Strategic Operations Team to improve sales and maximize pricing opportunities.- Have effective communication within a team environment.
- Manage homebuilding construction through all phases to ensure the delivery of a quality home.- Schedule subcontractors and delivery dates for materials.- Ensure all building codes and Meritage Home standards of quality are met.- Conduct walk-through inspections and other scheduled inspections with the homeowner. - Communicate safety standards to laborers and sub-contractors; enforces safety regulations on all job sites. - Maintain a clean and organized jobsite and subdivision.- Interact daily with various departments of company, subcontractors, customers, and city inspectors.- Attend Construction, monthly and quarterly meetings.

The Construction Intern will manage the new home construction process within assigned communities. Responsible for ensuring homes are delivered within specific cycle time and budget targets as well as customer quality expectations when closed. Responsible for maintaining customer satisfaction goals and providing needed customer care/warranty services in assigned communities. The Construction Intern will work with and learn: - The permitting and building inspection process through the local jurisdiction(s)- Building plans, materials and specifications- All Meritage processes required to build our homes- Proper scheduling and quality improvement systems- Storm water pollution prevention and safety programs- Customer satisfaction programs including all customer points of contact- The Meritage Green System- The Meritage Customer Service program
