Our Atlanta Division is looking for a Division Sales Manager to help grow our Atlanta Market. Working with Senior Leadership, the Sales Manager is responsible for coaching, training and evaluating the sales staff through daily interaction in the field. In addition, they will support the ongoing review and analysis of sales programs and incentives, and work to streamline processes to support the simplification of field sales efforts. The Sales Manager will also work closely as a liaison with Marketing, Operations, Design Center, Land and other operating units throughout the division to insure accurate communication between departments. This position requires:- Travel between communities spending the majority of each day in the field working with the Sales Associates providing intensive and on-going coaching, training, and feedback.- Regularly visiting and inspecting sales offices and communities for improvement opportunities. - Regularly reviewing sales goals and evaluating performance against these goals at a community and individual performer level. - Regularly reviewing sales numbers (price, inventory, backlog, etc.) and use them to evaluate the effectiveness of your sales and incentive programs.- Regularly reviewing competitors and market research and serving as an internal expert on both new and used home product in assigned markets.- Regularly sourcing and identifying talent in the market and building a pipeline for future growth.- Regularly reporting and communicating to other departments and functions, as needed.
- Manage homebuilding construction through all phases to ensure the delivery of a quality home.- Schedule subcontractors and delivery dates for materials.- Ensure all building codes and Meritage Home standards of quality are met.- Conduct walk-through inspections and other scheduled inspections with the homeowner. - Communicate safety standards to laborers and sub-contractors; enforces safety regulations on all job sites. - Maintain a clean and organized jobsite and subdivision.- Interact daily with various departments of company, subcontractors, customers, and city inspectors.- Attend Construction, monthly and quarterly meetings.

This position is designed to allow previous “top producers” an opportunity to get back into new home sales. An Outside Sales Specialist is a 40-hour per week Sales Associate that travels between communities to provide coverage. Outside Sales Specialist will mostly work weekdays but some weekends and holidays may be required. Locations and schedules will be consistent but are subject to change, with notice, according to need. Outside Sales Specialists will be expected to be familiar with all communities within their Division, so they can step in wherever needed. This position may offer the opportunity of moving up into an Outside Sales Counselor role over time.
